Because they didn't bother to read my email reply, nor did they bother to check the site to see if it was working.
I also believe they had some kind of server crash or something. I got an email somewhere. I bet they were just doing a basic CYA and carelessly rushed thru stuff.
The email did say they lost some info. Needless to say, they asked for my ticket # and all that and I DID reply and told them to let it go.
Would be just nice to have them READ the reply they ASKED for!
Good thing is that the backup is on the server. I see it. I just don't know how to do it and I suspect this is something they have to do on their end anyway.

Kept are you talking about my fun site or my pet site?
Marty, they FINALLY sorted it. Tonight! ugh.
What usually is excellent support there turned to a giant clustef*&k of miscommunication!
The person who did the mistake to begin with was off for two days, no one told me that.
Then he restored it back to a day that was broken due to the messages left to him. Top it off Joan is now a he according to them.  dumbasses
anyway, more bitching on my part directly to the tech assigned to this, he copied and pasted the messages left for him to me, restored at my request what he should never have touched, and I read this and OMG I cannot believe how stupid these messages were!
Totally not what I said and I replied back telling him so. Also suggested a staff meeting on communication, message taking and accurate relaying of messages was in order.
Do you know I was told twice I was supposed to get a phone call before ANY backup was restored? NOT ONCE did I get a call. Told them that too.
So hopefully, they got their act together now and go back to the excellent customer service they always had and not the crap I just went through.

99% of my artwork is done with Photoshop. Some I use Paint Shop Pro and animation factory.
If you want I do make custom themes. So all you gotta do is ask! I have a small wowbb section on my site too. I have big plans coming in the near future too so keep your eyes peeled for an announcement!
